An Act relating to public finance; enacting the FY 18 Budget Adjustment Act; making an appropriation to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services; providing for noncodification; and declaring an emergency.
SUBJECT: Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
This act shall be known and may be cited as the "FY 18 Budget Adjustment Act".
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the Constitutional Reserve Fund of the State Treasury the sum of Twenty-three Million Three Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand One Hundred Seventy Dollars ($23,338,170.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services by law.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
